+ $1,905 - $2,590 Weekly Rate
+ **Department:** Associate Travel Program - PT Assistant
+ **Schedule:** Multiple Shifts available, 40 hours per week
+ **Hospital:** Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals
+ **Location:** **Local and national travel options are available dependent on need.**
This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 8-13 week assignments - not a short term option or temporary contract. Ability to extend as needed. Benefited positions available, rate changes will apply.

**Responsibilities**
Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
+ Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
+ Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
+ Document treatment interventions given.
+ May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
**Additional Preferences**
Additional Preferences:
+ One year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Experience.
+ One year of **recent** experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
+ Travelers must be willing to travel 50+ miles from permanent residence.
