Role Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. This position involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life across various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions through tests and examinations to identify limitations and needs.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans.
- Utilize various techniques and operate specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
- Maintain safety standards, adhere to infection control, and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Assist in discharge planning and perform other duties within scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and move equipment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in diverse team environments.
