Job summary

MEP Health seeks a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with mobility impairments across diverse locations. You will develop treatment plans, apply manual therapy and modalities, document outcomes, and collaborate with medical staff.

Job description

Role:

A travel Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Develop personalized treatment plans, implement therapy techniques, operate equipment, monitor patient progress, document outcomes, collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license, current BLS certification; a doctorate in physical therapy is preferred. Experience is valued, but new grads are welcome.

Skills & Abilities:

• Critical thinking, strong communication, physical dexterity, ability to work with diverse teams, and adaptability to varied schedules. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and perform fine motor tasks.

Key Duties:

Conduct patient assessments, create and adjust treatment plans, utilize manual therapy and modalities, document care, coordinate with medical staff, and educate patients on recovery strategies. Maintain a safe, professional environment and stay current with industry practices.
