Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care in Florida is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

You will develop personalized plans, operate therapy equipment, document outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Licensure and BLS certification required; Doctorate in PT preferred; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification.
• Doctorate in physical therapy preferred.
• Experience or new graduates welcomed.
• Additional certifications encouraged.

Job description

Role: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

• Responsibilities: Develop personalized treatment plans, implement therapy techniques, operate specialized equipment, assess patient progress, collaborate with healthcare professionals, educate patients and caregivers, maintain safety and documentation, and participate in quality initiatives and discharge planning.
• Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations, current BLS certification. Preferred: Doctorate in physical therapy, experience or new graduates, additional certifications.
• Skills & Abilities: Critical thinking, strong communication, proficiency in English, physical ability to move and operate equipment, interpersonal skills, technical motor skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective sensory communication.
