Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement patient care plans in an acute care setting, with a focus on collaborative teamwork in Georgia.

The role requires licensing, BLS, and 6 months of experience; travel and flexible scheduling are expected to support high-quality patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience, new grads encouraged
• Valid state PT license
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and support staff.
• Bill appropriately for services.
• Ensure compliance with state PT regulations.

Role:

Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise PTAs and support staff, bill appropriately, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with medical personnel, assess and modify care plans, utilize medical systems, and document accurately per guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), valid state license, BLS certification, strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Additional Details:

The role involves 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with a focus on team collaboration and patient-centered care. Certifications may be required prior to start.
