Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health in Richland, WA seeks a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and reduce pain. You will develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans and implement therapy techniques using specialized equipment.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, you will ensure coordinated patient care, document progress, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Role Overview:

This position is for a travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. The role involves developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, implementing therapy techniques, operating specialized equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments, develop and adjust rehabilitation programs, deliver therapy treatments, ensure safety and infection control, document progress, educate patients and caregivers, and participate in discharge planning. Maintain a safe environment and engage in professional development to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations, current BLS certification, strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Physical abilities include moving equipment and assisting patients, with sensory and motor skills necessary for effective therapy delivery. Ability to work independently and under pressure is essential.
