Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across acute care settings. You will develop individualized plans, collaborate with medical personnel, and ensure documentation is compliant with regulations.
Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of experience, current BLS, and Indiana state licensure, with the ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Travel and adaptability are essential parts of the role.
Travel Physical Therapist
Evaluate and develop individualized plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee support staff and PTAs, ensure billing compliance, and adhere to state-specific PT regulations. Collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify treatment plans based on patient progress. Utilize medical software for documentation and maintain accurate records following guidelines.
Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), current BLS certification, and state licensure. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential.
Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and proficiency in documentation. Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
