Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Newton, MA. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, with the support of a dedicated clinical team and comprehensive benefits.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients, develop evidence-based plans, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure safe, effective care in hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
