American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year outpatient experience for a day-shift assignment in Marana, AZ. The role is in an outpatient clinic setting with 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, treating patients referred by physicians or via direct access.

The ideal candidate will work with orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical populations, may supervise PT aides, perform specialized evaluations, educate patients, and contribute to care plans.

Qualifications

• 1 year outpatient experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• AZ state license required if applicable; proof of pending licensure accepted before start date.
• Experience with various charting systems required.
• Strong understanding of patient assessment, body mechanics, and home exercise program development.
• Ability to educate patients and families on treatment plans.

Responsabilités

• Outpatient clinic setting.
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Treats patients referred by physicians or via direct access.
• Works with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patient populations including post-op spinal, shoulder, hip, and knee cases.
• May supervise physical therapy assistants and PT technicians.
• Performs specialized evaluations such as Work Hardening, Functional Capacity, and ergonomic assessments.
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing care plans, and supervising assistants and support staff.
• Involves maintaining communication with referring physicians and rehab nurses regarding patient progress.
• May include administrative duties such as scheduling and billing code utilization.
• Opportunities to participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
• Open to first-time travelers.
