Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of orthopedic outpatient experience to join our outpatient ortho clinic team in South Carolina.

This travel position features a 4x10 hour schedule (Mon-Thu), no weekends, and requires an SC or Multi-State Compact license plus BLS. Epic is used for charting; housing support and travel reimbursements are included. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required.
• SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at start of contract.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
• Experience with assessment, AROM/AAROM/PROM, and strength testing required.
• Orthopedic patient population experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting: outpatient orthopedic clinic
• Daily caseload of 12 patients
• Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of outpatient orthopedic patients
• Business casual attire; no specific scrub color required
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position
• Previous MUSC perm staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• During hurricane season (June-November), travelers may be assigned to emergency response duties
