Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an outpatient physical therapist for a 26-week contract with 2+ years of orthopedic rehabilitation experience.

The role features 45-minute 1:1 sessions in a small community rehab setting, EPIC charting, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with no weekend requirements. Requirements include CO or Compact PT licensure, BLS (AHA), a valid driver’s license, and residency within 60 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• CO PT License or Compact license required.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Must be well-versed in outpatient physical therapy practice.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting within a small community rehab department.
• Patient population is mostly orthopedic with a wide variety of diagnoses.
• 45-minute 1:1 treatment sessions with a recurring schedule of 9 patients per day.
• Supported by PTAs, though treatments are delivered 1:1.
• Uses EPIC for charting.
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p.
• No weekend or holiday requirements.
• Main responsibilities include evaluations and ongoing management of a recurring outpatient caseload with an emphasis on cancellation/no-show management.
• Supportive team environment with a department-specific orientation.
• Business casual dress code.
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.
• Facility has a strong track record, with two previous travelers accepting full-time positions.
• Orientation includes a required in-state week, though initial modules may be completed remotely.
