Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in Kerrville, Texas seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services within Geriatrics & Extended Care programs under HBPC supervision. The PT evaluates, plans, and delivers therapy to improve function using modalities, therapeutic exercise, education, prostheses and assistive devices as outlined by the APTA.

This full-time position is GS-11 to GS-12, with a 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, travel limited to local training and patient

Qualifications

• Licensed PT with full practice authority at GS-11/12 level.
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients with diverse needs.
• Commitment to continuing education and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive PT plans.
• Provide independent, professional PT services in assigned areas.
• Coordinate care with clinicians and program staff.
• Document progress and discharge summaries in medical records.
