Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring 1+ year of recent experience and proficiency with HCHB charting systems and OASIS processes.

The role covers a territory within 60 miles of the hub office, offers a 5x8 schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no on-call, competitive pay with bonuses, housing allowance, and travel/licensure reimbursements for traveling candidates, while encouraging local applicants at standard travel rates.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• OASIS experience required
• HCHB charting system experience required
• Must be comfortable with scrub attire (any color, no jeans)

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Covers a territory up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
• iPad provided for charting; personal cell phone not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the standard travel rate
