Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 17-week assignment in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role involves evaluating and treating patients to improve mobility and reduce pain, in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

The ideal candidate holds a PT license, current BLS certification, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads welcome; travel healthcare experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and self-management.
