Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in San Rafael, CA. This role offers a 40-hour work week, eight-hour shifts, and travel benefits in a hospital, clinic, or rehab setting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, BLS certification, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. New grads may apply; prior travel experience is a plus. You’ll work with a dedicated clinical team and enjoy comprehensive benefits and support.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs and goals.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, and preventive strategies.
