Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sacramento, CA. You’ll work 40 hours per week, on a standard 8-hour shift, with a start date of 01/04/2027 and a licensed professional providing care across hospitals, clinics, and rehab settings.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with a clinical team, and ongoing patient education to improve mobility and quality of life while enjoying comprehensive travel benefits and support.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• PT experience welcome; new grads considered.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and self-management.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Participate in discharge planning and quality assurance activities.
