Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Duluth, GA. The position runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and day shifts in the acute care setting.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of PT experience (12 months preferred), current BLS, and active state licensure. You will evaluate patients, develop and execute plans of care, supervise PTAs, and collaborate with physicians and center staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• For an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 12 months of experience may be required.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state/insurance guidelines.
