HiredFirst is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a Delano, CA assignment in an acute/rehab setting. The 13-week assignment offers a day shift, 8-hour shifts, and potential extension based on needs and performance.

You will evaluate and treat patients, develop plans of care, educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Travel pay is issued weekly along with benefits and recruiter support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• BLS/CPR certification as required.
• Recent physical therapy experience appropriate to the assigned setting.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work the listed shift and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, functional activities, and other appropriate interventions.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding exercises, safety, mobility, and continued care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Summary

Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in a healthcare rehabilitation setting.
