HiredFirst is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a Bakersfield, CA assignment. You will evaluate and treat patients in an Acute/Rehab setting, develop individualized plans of care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve mobility, function, and safety.

The role requires a California PT license, recent PT experience, and strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills. Assignment is 13 weeks with option to extend, 10-hour day shifts, weekly travel pay available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the assignment.
• Recent physical therapy experience appropriate to the assigned setting.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, functional activities, and other appropriate interventions.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding exercises, safety, mobility, and continued care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Summary

Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in a healthcare rehabilitation setting. Develop individualized plans of care, provide therapeutic interventions, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve mobility, function, and safety.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license required.
