Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Atchison, Kansas, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts. Start date is 01/04/2027, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in diverse settings.

The role requires an active Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and willingness to travel. Prefer Doctorate of Physical Therapy and established clinical expertise, though new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)
• Physical Therapy experience is preferred, new grads welcome (preferred)
• Other certifications or licenses may be required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain using various techniques
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control
