Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in WaKeeney, Kansas. This role offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, and requires an active PT license and BLS certification.

You will evaluate patients, develop rehab plans, and document progress as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds a PT license, is flexible for travel, and is able to work in hospital or clinic settings while delivering high-quality care and ensuring patient

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, exams and history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate and calibrate PT equipment safely and effectively
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management techniques
• Maintain a safe treatment environment complying with infection control and safety standards
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to home or community settings
