Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburg, KS. This role offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts and ASAP start, in a travel capacity across hospitals and clinics.

The therapist will evaluate and treat patients, document progress, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and successful patient outcomes. Competitive benefits and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• DPT preferred; new grads may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home programs.
• Maintain safe treatment environments and adhere to infection control.
• Participate in discharge planning and quality improvement activities.
