Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Apple Valley, CA. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a dynamic clinical team environment across hospital, clinic, and rehab settings.

You will evaluate and treat patients with mobility impairments, develop personalized rehab plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Licensure and BLS are required; Doctorate preferred. Travel-ready with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• Active licensure and ability to obtain state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans based on assessment findings and goals.
• Deliver PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the treatment area.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions.
