Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Gun Barrel City, TX. The PT will evaluate and implement plans of care for diverse patients in acute care settings and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional cases), BLS, and state licensure. Positions involve 8-hour day shifts and travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months accepted.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with medical staff to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and modify plan of care based on patient condition.
• Provide timely documentation per state/insurance rules.
