Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Plano, TX is seeking Physical Therapists for a travel assignment to deliver high-quality care in the acute setting. You will evaluate and treat diverse patient populations and lead PTAs while ensuring compliant documentation and billing.

This 13-week travel role features 8-hour days, a tax-free stipend (to be confirmed), and weekly pay. Applicants must hold a Texas PT license and BLS, with ability to stand/walk extensively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS and state-specific PT licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for acute care patients.
• Supervise PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Comply with PT board rules and state regulations.
• Coordinate with Medical Center staff to ensure team plan of care.
• Assess adaptive equipment needs.
• Evaluate and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Use hospital IT systems for daily tasks.
• Document timely and accurately per guidelines.
