Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an acute care assignment in Georgetown, TX. The PT will evaluate and develop a care plan for diverse patient populations, supervise PTAs, and coordinate with center staff and physicians.

The role requires 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing. Travel responsibilities include 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, with consideration of an initial tax-free stipend as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads considered.
• BLS certification required.
• State-specific PT licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Document according to state/insurance guidelines.
• Use facility computer systems to perform daily tasks.
