Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Decatur, Texas. The PT will evaluate and implement plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting, with a 40-hour week, 8-hour days.

Requirements include BLS, state licensing, and 1 year of experience (6 months for exceptional candidates). The role involves coordination with clinicians and staff, and timely documentation per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active PT license (state of Texas) or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience: 1 year preferred; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use facility computer systems and document per state/insurance guidelines.
