Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Ewing Township, New Jersey. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting, collaborating with medical staff and supervising PTAs.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing. The 13-week assignment offers 30 hours per week and a travel-friendly schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff in the therapy setting.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use facility computer systems and document promptly per guidelines.
