Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care in an acute care setting, supervising PTAs and staff while ensuring compliance with state boards.

The role requires 6 months of experience (exception for strong candidates with less), BLS, and active state licensing. 40-hour weeks, travel duties, and timely documentation are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform bending/stooping as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians on plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment to support patient needs.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition dictates.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
