Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 26-week travel assignment in Elkridge, Maryland. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care for diverse patients in an acute setting, supervising PTAs and coordinating with physicians.

Requires 6 months of experience (6 months+ preferred), BLS, and state licensure; new grads are encouraged to apply. The position involves 40 hours per week with days shift and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and supportive staff in the therapy setting.
• Bill within the respective facility following guidelines.
• Adhere to PT board rules and state regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate, create, and modify the plan of care as patient needs change.
• Use hospital computer systems and document per state/insurer requirements.
