Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Plano, Texas. The role is 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, in travel clinical settings.

The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute plans of care in acute care, supervise staff, bill appropriately, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering quality patient care. Requires 6 months to 1 year experience and active Texas licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred).
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification.
• ABPTS or equivalent certification may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for acute care populations.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Document and bill per facility guidelines and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based care.
• Adapt plans of care as patient conditions change.
