Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for Willis, TX to evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care in the acute care setting, and collaborate with the medical team to meet patient goals.

Requirements include 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and state licensure. The assignment runs 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with day shifts and a travel stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following guidelines for the facility.
• Interface with physicians to ensure team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use medical center computer systems and document per state/insurance guidelines.
