Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tyler, Texas. The PT will evaluate and implement plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, supervise staff, and coordinate with center teams to ensure high-quality care.

Requires 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and Texas licensure. The role demands standing/walking long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification and Texas state licensure required.
• New grads are welcome to apply if eligible with appropriate background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill for services according to facility guidelines.
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff and physicians on care plans.
• Understand and use adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and adjust plans of care as patient condition changes.
• Document promptly per state/insurance guidelines.
