Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Riverdale, New Jersey. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute plans of care in an acute care setting, and coordinate with physicians and staff.

Expect to oversee PTAs and ensure compliant documentation and billing. The role requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) and current BLS and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be accepted.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff; document per state/insurance guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to coordinate care.
