Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hickory, NC. The role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and the chance to impact patient mobility while enjoying travel-friendly compensation and benefits.

The PT evaluates and treats patients in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings, develops individualized plans, collaborates with a clinical team, and ensures safe, evidence-based care with focus on return to work and independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices.
