Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Hickory, North Carolina. The role runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts, focusing on rehabilitation services in a hospital or clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively in the licensure process
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Develop plans of care and provide skilled PT services per physician orders
• Collaborate with disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
