Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Clinton, North Carolina. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and the chance to impact patients across hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mobility impairments, develop personalized plans, and work with a dedicated clinical team to ensure high-quality, safe care while enjoying travel perks and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, examinations, and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain with various techniques.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment and modalities safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and uphold infection control standards.
• Pursue quality assurance and professional development to stay current.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
