Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hickory, North Carolina. The role offers 40 hours per week with a 9-hour daytime shift and starts on 10/12/2026.

The position requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree with NPTE, an accredited school graduate, and at least one year of experience. State PT licensure and CPR are required. Housing, travel, and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Minimum one year's experience in physical therapy or relevant setting
• Current state license as a PT or actively pursuing licensure
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families on therapy methods.
• Develop plans of care and provide skilled physical therapy services per physician orders.
