Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Willmar, Minnesota. The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a supportive clinical team to deliver high-quality care to patients in various settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Physical Therapy license, current BLS certification, and is able to work collaboratively with physicians and therapists to create tailored treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and patient goals.
• Implement treatment plans using techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Contribute to discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
