Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Willmar, Minnesota. The PT will provide therapy services in a hospital or clinic setting, overseeing PTAs and completing documentation in a team-focused environment. Requirements include 1 year of experience (6 months for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state-specific licensing.

The position runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts. TotalMed offers weekly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with the right background may be considered with 6 months experience.
• Must have BLS certification and be state-licensed to practice.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and possess knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff as part of a team.
• Bill within the setting and ensure compliance with facility guidelines.
• Adhere to the PT board's rules and state regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel to plan and implement care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate and modify plan of care as needed.
• Use hospital systems to document daily activities and ensure timely documentation.
