Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Hickory, NC is seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment. You will oversee PTAs, coordinate care, bill within your setting, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering patient-centered therapy.

Candidates should have at least 6 months experience; BLS and state licensure are required. New grads are encouraged to apply, with exceptional candidates considered based on background.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• ABPTS, BLS, 1 Year
• Must hold state-specific licensure for practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
