Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Annapolis, MD. The role runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts. The PT will supervise PTAs, handle billing within the facility, and coordinate with Medical Center staff to implement a solid plan of care.

Licensure and BLS are required, with flexibility for strong candidates who meet state requirements. New grads are welcome to apply with appropriate background; responsibilities include documentation,

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing
• Ability to stand/walk long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for care planning
• Develop and modify plan of care based on patient condition
• Ensure documentation complies with state/insurance guidelines
• Operate Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
