Sentara Therapy Center Granby in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week assignment. The role is a temporary full-time day shift, 40 hours per week, at $65.00 per hour with no listed benefits.

The PT will perform modalities and therapeutic interventions, educate patients and families, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize outcomes. Virginia licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Ortho and neuro experience preferred; licensure must be valid in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; VA license or eligibility required to practice in Virginia.

Overview

Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

Required license must be valid in state of practice.

Education

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree - Physical Therapy

Certification/Licensure

Physical Therapist License (PT) - Virginia

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience

Previous physical therapy experience (preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
