Sentara Therapy Center Granby in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week assignment. The position is temporary full time with a day shift, 40 hours per week, at a rate of $65.00 per hour.

The role involves performing modalities and therapeutic interventions, providing patient and family education, and collaborating with internal and external team members to improve outcomes. VA licensure and BLS are required; orthopedic and/or neuro experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Physical therapy licensure valid in state of practice.
• Bachelor’s level degree in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
• Initiates, develops, and maintains collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
