Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred (Required in Louisiana).

Responsibilities

• Travel to client assignments within a designated region on short notice.
• Greet customers professionally and provide courteous service.
• Collect specimens accurately and on time following established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly to patients and reduce anxiety.
• Maintain proper disposal of biohazards and sharps according to laws and policies.
• Enter patient and billing information accurately into PathConnect and other PathGroup systems.
• Prepare and transport specimens maintaining required temperatures.
• Keep accurate records and prepare monthly statistics as needed.
• Perform basic clerical duties and electronic data entry.
• Adhere to grooming, safety, and confidentiality policies.
