Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist float to join our team in Florence, SC. This per diem/casual position offers hours as needed, Monday and Thursday, not to exceed 19 hours per week.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and provide exceptional customer service to patients while maintaining accurate records and supporting administrative duties. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to other sites are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a recognized training program, or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
