Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Florence, SC. This per diem/casual role requires exceptional customer service, skilled blood collection, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed.

Daily duties include venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, data entry, billing assistance, and maintaining accurate patient logs. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training; 21+ and valid driver's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as phlebotomist required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
