Job summary

Labcorp in Conway, SC seeks a Per Diem Phlebotomist to perform blood collection across age groups and travel to additional sites as needed.

This casual role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, with 0–6 months experience acceptable. You will provide courteous patient service, accurate data entry, and assist with general clerical duties.

Schedule is as needed, up to 19 hours per week, with a $1.00/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
