RNInk in North Charleston, SC is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to perm. You will perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and manage transport according to procedures.

The role requires pediatric and geriatric experience, a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 1 year of experience, and a clean driving record with travel to multiple SC locations.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing venipunctures in fast-paced lab or hospital settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure test requisitions match specimens and accurately label.
• Attend department trainings and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
