Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract opportunity covering North Charleston, West Ashley, Mt. Pleasant, Goose Creek, and surrounding areas. The role requires travel to multiple sites, with a 6am-5pm schedule and 3-month duration plus potential for permanent placement.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, a state phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Mileage is reimbursed; a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state; 6 months venipuncture experience.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred; high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Explain venipuncture processes clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package, label, and transport specimens per test orders and protocols.
